Manufacturing Process (Brief)
Magnesium stearate is produced by reaction of stearic acid with magnesium salts (such as magnesium oxide or magnesium hydroxide):
Stearic Acid + MgO / Mg(OH)₂ → Magnesium Stearate + Water
It is then filtered, dried, milled, and sieved to obtain a fine powder.
